I bought this for indoor use. However, the bases are too light and tip over when I try to make the string fairly tight and straight. So I have to weight them down with something (like a book). They work that way, but don't look nice.

We apologize for the you feel the bases are too light - we have tested them repeatedly to ensure they can hold the weight - even with a slight string bow. I like it, but it needs a gate at the end. You could be half an inch off at eight inches and still be on the ruler. But that putt wouldn’t go in from four feet. I put tees at the end, but that’s a bit of a nuisance.

I really like the flexibility of this set up. I can use indoors and outdoors. Great move on the hockey puck system. I use it for practicing and use the online video as well for instruction. I only see one issue and it is getting the line taut with the hockey pucks. Even for shorter distances inside or outside use. It could be me as well and need to figure it out with more use. I have enjoyed using it in my practice sessions. Thank You!

I've never really been able to film my putting setup and so using this has been helpful. I tried using a putting mirror but I think this line works better. People might give you funny looks if you're using it on the putting green, but they won't find it so funny when you start dropping putts. Small gripe is that the line is quite long so I wish it was kind of retractable.
Thanks for the great review! Sorry about the length but we wanted to ensure that you got to practice at every length. If you haven't done so, rolling it around the top of the pole itself allows you to reduce the length but maintain the tension. Hope those putts keep dropping with consistent practice. Can’t make it to golf course or range because of right arm & shoulder injuries but using one putt ruler at home. It’s terrific! Showed me that I’m pulling to the right & not square at contact

Just started using it, indoors, but it has helped me to get the putter head back straight and thru straight with a better chance of making more putts.

My playing partners always said I come across outside in and cut the ball. I never thought I did but they could see it I couldn't. Now with "the ruler" I see it feel it and now corrected. Hopefully after 2 weeks it will translate to the course I expect it will.

I have already started getting a better end one and roll, not as much wobble. The only strange thing is it makes a quiet noise every time I gut the ball, like the ruler is bowed. Even though I don’t think it is.
